The tradition of “malgari” (shepherds who take cattle to alms during summer ) in our family dates back to my great-grandmother Michel, but still before to her father, who many people remember as the oldest Patriarch of “Malgas” ( Alms )
Several years ago we decided to open another cheese factory in the valley. An idea that borns out of the passion of making cheese with raw milk even during wintertime. Doing so we increased production, we satisfy the customer that can not come to the alm in summer. We also sell at Km 0 which is the greatest satisfaction of an agricultural entrepreneur.
A recurring phrase that meets our philosophy is “WE ARE WHAT WE EAT”. So why not eat fresh, with no preservatives, genuine, artisan cheeses, as well as let people know about our culture, tradition, family, and passion?
