We personally oversee all steps of the production of all of our products. Starting with the health of our animals. We believe that safe and nutritious raw milk and cheeses are dependent on healthy animals.

We also offer other products such as beef, poultry, and even empanadas, along with an array of other local products.

Lacteos Conchy, a small cheese farm in Galicia
We are one of the few cheese farms that sell raw cow’s milk in Spain. That being said, we hold our cows up to the highest of standards.
At the moment we have 35 cows which produce about 700 litres of milk per day. Here at Conchy we do things the traditional way.
We are not concerned about buying an “organic” label, that forces us to feed our cattle X amount of organic feed.
Our cows graze in the beautiful green pastures of Galicia, as they have evolved to do.
The milk passes daily sanitization controls though a microfiltration process. This process helps to keep beneficial bacterial properties and flora intact, unlike with the common UHT process.
As a result, our cheeses are made with delicious and nutritious milk.

Known as the “land of 1000 rivers,” the region of Galicia receives over 1,000mm of rain per year, in some areas up to 1,900mm. The lush landscape provided by these rains make Galicia an exceptional location for cattle farming.
