We started as humble winemakers only producing wine for our household in 2009. When our family tried it, we had to make more for our family too. Then our friends wanted to enjoy some bottles of local home made wine. We continued expanding until we reached our current scale. What started as a hobby had led us to where we are today: a small wine producer.

Zalema grape, a variety of extraordinary quality
We start with Zalema grape, a variety of extraordinary quality that grows best here, in Huelva.
We make wine the old-fashioned way. We let the natural yeasts that grow with the grapes do the fermenting. It’s not necessary to add anything else. The yeasts simply have to do their job with is: “eat sugar and poop alcohol” as my father put it. We believe that nature is intelligent and we are not going to out smart her by adding selected yeasts. And why would we want to? In this way, we are able to produce a wine that is unique and interesting every year.

Our eccentric winery is situated in the palmerina Avenida de Sevilla. In the beginning we were bringing our wines to already established wineries for processing. This system did not allow us to impart the love and effort into our wine that we wanted. We were also spending more money this way. Now we pride ourselves in being one of the few wineries that that do all of their processing on-site. We start with grapes and finish with wine, all at the same location. Our winery may be humbly sized, but we are able to age, bottle, and store our wine here, and we also have a reception desk and a laboratory.
