In 1998 our family founded Cortijo El Cura winery with the aim of offering the first organic wines from Almeria (Andalusia).
The key to the success of our family business is rooted in the cooperation, hard work, and constancy of all its components.

Quality wines from Eco-Bodega Cortijo El Cura
Our organic wines are made exclusively with grapes from our own vineyards located in Laujar de Andarax (Almería) within the IGP Vino de la Tierra Lujar-Alpujarra.
Beautiful off-the-beaten-track places in Andalucía
Bodega Cortijo El Cura is located almost 1000 meters above sea level, between the Sierra Nevada and Sierra de Gádor; specifically, in the municipality of Laujar de Andarax, capital of the Alpujarra Almeriense province. Its location in the Sierra Nevada National Park (declared a Biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1986 in part for its ecological importance) makes the winery a unique place immersed in history and nature.
Laujar de Andarax is a Spanish village in the province of Almería located in Andalusia and is the capital of Alpujarra Almeriense.
